Emmanuel Macron is the French President. He visits the USA. Then he goes to Australia. He gives a speech. He accidentally says something that is embarrassing.

He says that the prime minister’s wife is ‘delicious’. You do not use this word to talk about people. You say that food is delicious.

Difficult words: faux pas (a mistake which can upset people and make you look bad), give a speech (talk in front of people), accidentally (by accident, you do not mean to do it), embarrassing (something which makes you feel and look bad).
