Malaysia Flight 370 – level 2

On March 8, 2019 it was five years after Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared. One woman said that people want the Malaysian government to keep looking for the plane.

She said that ‘you can’t be sitting down and waiting for something to fall on your lap’.

One person from the Malaysian government said that if there is a believable source of information or specific ideas of what to do, the government will look into them.

Difficult words: disappear (go missing), wait for something to fall on your lap (wait for something to happen without working for it), look into (work with them).
