Boats Crash in Budapest – level 2

In Budapest, Hungary a sightseeing boat on the Danube River crashed into another boat last Wednesday. It capsized, sank and more than seven people died. The seven bodies did not have life jackets.

On Thursday afternoon, 21 passengers were still missing. All of the passengers were South Korean tourists.

Difficult words: sightseeing (for seeing sights – things which tourists want to see), capsize (turn over), be missing (when a person is missing, we do not know if they are OK and where they are).
