Fake Facebook Accounts – level 1
19-02-2020 07:00
Facebook is a social network. People make accounts and groups on Facebook. People want to share information, stories, and pictures.
Some people share false information. They make fake accounts. They want to change other people and their ideas. It is very difficult to know what information is true.
Facebook deletes about 100 accounts and 29 groups in four countries. There is also a problem in Russia. Some people say wrong information about Ukraine. Facebook wants to know who the people are. Facebook finds out that these people have a contact with Russian military.
A similar thing happens in Iran. Some people say false information about the US.
Difficult words: share (to have or use something with other people), false (not real), fake (not real).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
