People in Nigeria protest against the police. This means they say that they are not happy. SARS is in Nigeria. SARS is a special police unit. It starts in 1992.
Many people say that SARS is not good. SARS is aggressive. SARS officers use very strong force.
People in Nigeria protest against SARS. A calm protest takes place on October 20th. Protesters make videos on their phones. People are sitting and singing. Some people are holding Nigerian flags.
But someone shoots a gun. Protesters make videos of soldiers. Officials say that there are no soldiers. It makes people very angry.
SARS ends in October. A new police unit starts. People worry. They do not believe that anything will change.
Difficult words: unit (a group of people who work together as a team), aggressive (when someone attacks someone else), flag (a piece of cloth that has different colors and it represents a country).
