Extreme weather in a room – level 1
21-10-2021 07:00
Scientists in Italy work in special rooms. Any weather can be in these rooms.
The rooms can have snowstorms. They can be very cold. The temperature can be minus 40 degrees Celsius. Scientists can also make very hot weather.
Scientists study what happens to people, plants, and other living things when the weather changes. Some living things adapt to a new situation easily. Others die. It is important to know what can happen. The world weather is changing.
Mountain rescuers use these rooms, too. They train for their work. They are happy. They do not need to do it in the mountains.
Difficult words: temperature (how warm or cold something is), adapt (to change when a situation changes), train (to learn something for a job or sports).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
