Birds fall from the sky – level 2

A security camera filmed a flock of birds falling from the sky. The event happened in the Mexican city of Cuauhtémoc.
The birds looked like a black cloud that suddenly fell to the ground. Most birds flew away, but some of them stayed on the streets, and they died. Nobody really knows what happened to the animals. Some people said that dirty air could be the problem, while others suggested that power lines killed the birds. It is also possible that a predator tried to catch a bird, and the flock flew to the ground.
The birds were yellow-headed blackbirds. They stay in the US and Canada in summer, and they migrate to Mexico for winter.
Difficult words: flock (a group of animals, for example, birds, sheep, or goats), predator (an animal that kills another animal for food), migrate (to move from one area to another, usually because of the weather).
