Workers are building a police training center outside Atlanta, United States. People call the center Cop City.

The project costs 90 million dollars. Officials say that it will make people feel better and safer after the murder of George Floyd in 2020. But many problems start already.

Some people do not agree with the project. Workers and local people are scared. There are many protests. Recently, police arrest more than 30 people. They throw rocks and bricks at the officers. During one protest, police kill a 26-year-old man. This makes people even angrier.

Difficult words: project (a planned work or activity), local (living in a particular area), brick (a small block which people use for building houses).
