A Russian astronaut Oleg Kononenko breaks a record. He spends the longest time in space.

Another Russian astronaut Gennady Padalka holds the previous record. Kononenko loves his job in space. But he misses his family when he is on a long mission. These days, it is not a problem to communicate with his family from space. But he is still sad that he misses some important moments with the people who he loves.

Russia has problems with space missions. But Kononenko is still excited about them. Through his journey, we learn exciting things about astronauts and space.
