Young Russians, or so-called Generation Putin, say what they think about their president Vladimir Putin and his 24 years in power.

Zaurbek, 27, believes that thanks to Putin, Russia is a stable country. Egor, 18, sees Russia’s leaders as unworthy. Both young men grew up under Putin’s rule and they have contrasting ideas on him. They also have different opinions about Russia’s future.

Putin is still very popular, even among young people, but some of them start to worry about the future of their country. Their perspectives show how complicated Russia’s politics is.

Difficult words: unworthy (something what people should not respect or like), contrasting (very different), perspective (a way of considering something).
