In Italy, Carlo Del Buono and Jose Cianni run a successful business. They have a cricket farm.

Their startup, Nutrinsect, produces cricket flour. Cricket flour has a lot of protein. It does not hurt the natural world.  At first, they import crickets. But Cianni’s farm now produces two tons of cricket flour every month. In Italy, it is okay to use crickets in food. People buy Nutrinsect’s products a lot.

Del Buono is a pizza maker. They try to make cricket pizza. They put cricket powder into the dough. Some people do not like this idea. But Del Buono plans to have cricket pizza on his menu soon.

Difficult words: cricket (an insect which makes a sound with his legs), flour (a powder which we use to make bread, cakes, or pasta), dough (a thick substance from flour and water).
