People in Denmark trust each other – level 2

09-10-2024 07:00

Trust is very important in Denmark, especially in Copenhagen. With GreenKayak, you can use a kayak for free if you pick up trash from the canals.

The person who started this idea is Tobias Weber-Anderson, who wanted to make the city cleaner. This system works because people return the kayaks safely.

The Human Library is another example of trust. You can borrow a person to talk with them about life problems. Ronnie Auel created this project to help people understand each other better.

At a bakery, there is no cashier. Customers take what they want and pay online. The bakery owner trusts people to pay honestly, and usually, they do. In Denmark, people respect each other and act responsibly.

Difficult words: trash (things which people throw away), project (an activity planned to achieve a goal), responsibly (when you do something in a careful trustworthy way).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

Who is the founder of the GreenKayak initiative and what is its purpose?
