Inside The Backrooms – level 1

12-06-2026 07:00

The Backrooms is a famous horror story. It starts as popular videos on YouTube.

Now, it is a big movie in cinemas. It is making a lot of money. The director is Kane Parsons. He is only 20 years old. He works very hard with a small group of friends to finish the film.

YouTube is a good place for new filmmakers. They do not need a lot of money to put their videos there. The best way to start is to find a new idea. You should make something what you want to watch. But nobody has a similar idea before. You must work very hard on it. It is also good to have help from family when your computers break down.

The movie shows big, empty rooms. Many people think these rooms are scary. They look like places from our dreams or from when we are children. This scary world is very popular. There will be more movies about it later.

Difficult words: director (the person who tells the actors what to do), filmmaker (a person who makes movies), break down (to stop working).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

What is the name of the 20-year-old director who worked with a small group of friends to finish the film?
