US-Iran peace deal – level 2

The United States and Iran agreed on a new peace deal. Pakistan and Qatar helped both countries talk to each other.
According to US President Donald Trump, Iran promises not to make nuclear weapons. They will also reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a very important sea route for oil. In return, America may stop its economic sanctions against Iran. The deal also stops all military fighting, including in Lebanon.
At first, Trump wanted to sign the papers online immediately, but the plan changed.
The Pakistani Prime Minister said the official signing ceremony will happen on Friday in Switzerland. If they sign the deal, they will have 60 days to discuss bigger problems about Iran’s nuclear projects.
Difficult words: peace deal (an official agreement between countries to stop fighting a war), route (a path or road which people use to move things from one place to another), sanction (a ban which countries put on another country to stop them from trading or buying things).
