Mass murder in Canada – level 2
08-01-2015 07:00
People found eight dead people in a Canadian city. Two of the victims were children aged under 10.
Canadian police called it a meaningless mass murder and said that the killings were not random but appear to be planned.
The deaths appear to be the tragic result of family and domestic violence.
Difficult words: victim (a person who is hurt or dies because of somebody else), random (something that has no plan), domestic violence (violent/aggressive behaviour within the home).
You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
