Fake: A stolen painting in Zelenskyy’s office – level 1

28-04-2026 15:00

Some people say a bad thing about President Zelenskyy. They say that he has a stolen painting in his office. They show a video on the internet. In the video, we see a famous painting. This painting is from a museum in Italy.

But the video is fake. A computer makes it. The voice is not real, and the pictures are different. In the real office, the painting is from a Ukrainian artist. It is a picture of a mountain. The artist is a friend of the president. He gives the painting to him as a gift. It is a beautiful and simple work.

This is a big lesson for us. Some people want to make the president look bad. They use many fake accounts on the internet. We must be careful when we watch things online. Do not believe every video you see on your phone.

Difficult words: stolen (something what a person takes but it does not belong to them), office (a room where people work at desks), fake (not real).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

What details in the internet video reveal that the supposed footage of a famous painting in Zelenskyy’s office is fake?
