There is technology which recognizes faces, and Amazon wants to regulate this technology. Amazon’s CEO, Jeff Bezos, wants to present the new rules in the US government.

He thinks that this technology is good, but it can be dangerous, too. Critics say that people can have unfair treatment because of this technology.

Amazon wrote a document that explains some of the problems. Amazon wants to convince lawmakers to make it a part of the country’s laws. It is important that this technology protects people and is transparent.

Difficult words: regulate (make rules and laws), convince (make somebody believe something), transparent (clear and understandable).
