Putin wants nuclear weapons in Belarus – level 1

On Saturday, the Russian President Vladimir Putin says, that he will place nuclear weapons in Belarus. Belarus is Ukraine’s neighbor.
Putin says that the US has nuclear weapons in Europe. It is the same thing. But Putin also says that Russia will not increase the number of nuclear weapons. Many countries do not believe it. NATO’s spokesperson says that Putin’s words are dangerous. Putin breaks his promises in the past.
Ukraine’s officials want a meeting of the UN Security Council. They say that countries of the world must stop Putin from using nuclear weapons.
Difficult words: nuclear weapon (a bomb or rocket which uses dangerous nuclear energy which comes from breaking small things called atoms), increase (to make something greater or bigger), promise (when someone says that he will or will not do something in the future).
