New technologies help swimmers

The technology in swimming is very advanced, especially in swimsuits.

Designers always try to improve them, making them better for swimmers. The Olympic swimsuits are very expensive and high-tech. The sports body has rules about what materials and designs athletes can use, but companies still try to make the best suits. Athletes test different suits to find the best one. For example, the new Arena suit is easy to put on. It takes only two minutes instead of the usual ten. It makes swimmers feel light in the water.

Testing in water shows that the suit helps reduce bubbles and helps athletes swim faster. But you must test a few more times before choosing your suit for the race.

Difficult words: advanced (modern and well-developed), designer (a person who creates new things), high-tech (using the most modern methods, designs, machines, and so on).
