US Vice President Kamala Harris has started her campaign to replace Joe Biden in November’s election, just two days after Biden withdrew.
Her first rally was in Wisconsin, a crucial swing state for Democrats and Republicans. Despite some Trump supporters, the crowd focused on Harris, who emphasized her commitment to democracy. She has visited Wisconsin five times this year, showing its importance. Biden mentioned Wisconsin in his State of the Union address, and last week, thousands of Republicans gathered there for their National Convention.
Since Biden endorsed Harris, she has already raised 100 million dollars. The campaign is moving fast, and Democrats are determined to win. Harris’s supporters highlighted issues like ending the conflict in Gaza. This election is not just about Trump though. It is about who they stand for, and Harris’s supporters are ready to fight for their cause.
