Norway’s Princess Martha Louise married Durek Verrett, a spiritual teacher from the US. Norwegian royalty, including the king, attended the ceremony.

The wedding took place in Geiranger after three days of celebrations. Martha Louise, fourth in line to the throne, stopped doing royal duties in 2022 to focus on her business. She and Verrett said they would not use her princess title for business. B some people criticized them for doing it, especially after they promoted a special pink gin for their wedding. The wedding ceremony was private and only a few media could attend.

Verrett will be part of the royal family but will not be a prince. The marriage is controversial because Martha Louise believes in talking to angels and Verrett does spiritual work.
