A phone charges in 9 minutes – level 3

Chinese smartphone maker Realme unveiled a smartphone that, it says, can be fully charged in just over nine minutes.

The company has expanded its flagship GT smartphone lineup with the launch of GT3 with 240W fast charging technology. The company said that it only takes 80 seconds to charge the smartphone to 20% capacity, which could make it the world’s fastest-charging smartphone. 30 seconds of charge can get the user a two-hour 5G call, three and a half hours of music, 40 minutes of video streaming, 25 minutes of gaming, or a TV episode. Realme also claims that the phone has an ultra-durable battery that retains 80% capacity even after 1,600 charge cycles.

The company said that with its powerful features and design, the GT3 will set a new benchmark in the smartphone industry and deliver an exceptional experience to its users.

Difficult words: flagship (the best or most important thing among a group), ultra-durable (able to last and be used for an extremely long time), benchmark (a standard against which things are compared).
