29-06-2015 07:00
A passenger bus collided with a truck carrying bricks in Russia. The crash happened near the Siberian city of Omsk, around 2,736 kilometres east of Moscow. Sixteen people died and 11 more were injured.
Death rates from Russian road accidents are higher than in most Western countries. The country is known for its erratic drivers.
Difficult words: collide (to hit by accident while moving), erratic (unpredictable – you never know what a person or a thing is about to do).
You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
