Many people in the US do not like President Trump’s new idea. They walk in the streets and carry signs. They are angry about the new tax.
This tax makes it more expensive for other countries to sell things in the US. It is called a tariff. Elon Musk says that the US and Europe should have free trade in the future. Australia also has to pay this tax. But the Prime Minister says Australia will not make a new tax. They want to keep good friends with both the US and China. It is not easy.
In New York, people sell food and drink from Scotland. But now the price is going up. Some people say they will buy less. Business owners are worried.
Difficult words: tax (money which people or companies must pay to the government), free trade (when countries sell things to each other without paying extra money), owner (a person who has something).
