Arrested because of cannabis oil – level 2

Poliece arrested a man from Australia for giving his daughter cannabis oil. The man’s two-year-old daughter has cancer and is in hospital.

Cannabis oil is illegal in Australia, but some people do not agree with this. They came in front of a court in Brisbane to support the man. One woman said that it is ridiculous that cigarettes are legal and marijuana is illegal.

Difficult words: cannabis (marijuana), ridiculous (very silly and unreasonable).
