Biggest bonfire ever – level 2
05-12-2024 15:00
A town in Austria built the tallest pyre in the world. It took the people three months to build, and after they set it on fire, it collapsed in less than 30 minutes.
The structure was 60 meters tall. Embers from the big fire flew everywhere, but local fire crews made sure that everyone was safe.
Difficult words: pyre (a tower of wood which you set on fire), structure (something that you build), ember (a small piece of burning wood).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
