Freddy the Great Dane of the UK is the world’s biggest dog, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. At four years old, he is 2.2 metres tall when he stands on his back legs and he weighs 92 kilograms.
His owner said that he was the runt of the litter and that she had no idea that he would get so big. She spends $12,258 per year on food for Freddy and his sister. The two of them also have demolished 26 sofas!
Difficult words: massive (big), runt of the litter (the smallest baby from a group of babies), demolish (destroy).
