Boy Beats Disability – level 2
14-06-2017 15:00
A Bosnian boy was born without arms and with deformed feet. At five years old, he was afraid to go near water. However, he joined a club for disabled children. Just one year later, he won a gold medal and is a team leader.
The club coach says that he wants to give disabled children a chance. Their bodies are different, but they can still do things.
He takes them to lunches, dinners, and even skiing trips. If a child’s family cannot afford a trip, the club helps them via donations.
The team is currently training for this year’s European Championship for Disabled Swimmers.
Difficult words: deformed (not healthy), disabled (with some problem of the body), donation (the money which people give to an organisation).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
