British TV presenter is missing – level 2
11-06-2024 07:00
The search for British TV presenter Michael Mosley on Symi Island is ongoing.
They are now looking in water tunnels near Agia Marina. People last saw Moseley on Wednesday on a coastal way and then on CCTV in the village of Pedi. No signs show he that left the island. Britain’s officials are helping the Greek search.
Mosley is well-known in the UK for his TV shows, radio, and newspaper articles. He wrote The Fast Diet in 2013, which talks about the 5:2 diet. His friends and colleagues are very worried. They are thinking about his wife Clare and their children. In 2002, Mosley received a nomination for an Emmy for his work on a BBC documentary.
Difficult words: ongoing (continuing), sign (evidence), nomination (officially suggesting someone for a job or prize).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
