Buildings Without Lights – level 2

People switched off the lights on many buildings all over the world. They celebrated Earth Hour. It was part of a campaign to bring attention to climate change.

It was the 10th anniversary of Earth Hour, so people celebrated it with a big show. 170 countries and territories took part in the campaign.

Difficult words: bring attention (when you want other people to be interested in your plan), anniversary (a celebration that is every year).
