Car hits a boy in Manchester – level 1
18-09-2014 15:00
This news is from Manchester. A car hits a boy. He is only eleven years old. The car does not stop after hitting him. It is quite shocking.
The boy is lucky. He is not injured seriously. He goes to hospital. He misses only one day of school. Police look for the driver.
Difficult words: injured (to be hurt or have problems with their body), seriously (badly), miss (when you miss school, you are not at school).
You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.

I read the comments on YouTube. Some people thought that the car hit the boy on purpose. Do you agree?
