Dolly is a sheep. People clone her in 1996. She is the first cloned mammal. This is an important moment.

Scientists in China now clone monkeys. Monkeys are more like humans. This is another important moment.

The scientists want to clone monkeys. They want to study Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases.

Difficult words: clone (make an animal which is exactly the same as another animal), mammal (an animal whose babies drink their mother’s milk).
