In Peru, a dog found itself in a canal and it could not get out. Luckily, police officers were on hand to help it out.

One officer even stripped down to his underwear and got into the water to help the drowning animal. He grabbed the dog and passed him to another officer. They saved the dog and he was only a little shaken.

Difficult words: drown (when you are in the water and you are dying because of it), grab (take).
