Dog saves people – level 1

An earthquake strikes in China. Many houses fall down. People are under these houses. They need help. A dog helps them. It is over five years old. It knows how to find people. It finds a few people.

However, the work is too hard for the dog. It gets very tired. It must go to the vet’s. It must get some rest.

Difficult words: earthquake (when the ground shakes), strike (attack), vet (animal’s doctor), rest (sleep and avoid hard work).
