Dogs Get Married – level 2

In Lima, Peru, people celebrated Valentine’s Day with a large pet wedding ceremony, and about a dozen canine couples tied the knot. Some dogs dressed up in suits and wedding veils!

People hold this Pet Valentine’s event every year to encourage pet owners to care for their pets.

Difficult words: canine (relating to dogs), tie the knot (get married), veil (a piece of fabric which is worn in front of the face), encourage (motivate).
