Eagle films London – level 2
25-11-2014 07:00
People fixed a small camera onto an eagle’s back. Then the eagle flew around London and filmed its famous landmarks. It flew around St Paul’s Cathedral, City Hall, Tower Bridge and Olympic Park.
The bird’s city tour was part of a campaign which commemorates 50 years of the Red List – a list of endangered species.
Difficult words: landmark (an important building), commemorate (remind and show respect), endangered species (animals which may die out soon).
You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
