Earthquake in Mexico – level 2

On Thursday, a powerful earthquake hit off of Mexico’s southern coast. People had to leave their homes as the buildings moved for up to a minute. The situation was worst in Oaxaca and Chiapas states, where many people died. The government issued a tsunami warning.
The country’s president said that the earthquake in Mexico was the worst earthquake in a century.
