Earthquake in Osaka – level 1

An earthquake hits Osaka on Monday. It happens at 8 a.m. The earthquake is strong. Walls fall down, fires start, and roads and water pipes crack. A nine-year-old girl and two men die.

Difficult words: earthquake (when the ground moves), water pipe (a thing in the ground in which water moves), crack (break).
