Elephant in Town – level 3

Locals of a small Chinese town in Yunnan Province got a bit of a shock when a wild elephant wandered downtown. Authorities followed the large mammal’s every movement.
The elephant eventually left the town, but the locals will probably never forget this special visit.
Difficult words: wander (walk slowly around), downtown (a city centre), mammal (a warm-blooded animal; babies are born from their mother’s body and not in eggs; the mother gives her babies milk).
