Sir Elton John is a British singer and songwriter. He is 75 years old. Last Friday, John performs at the White House in Washington DC, US.

In 1998, John performs at the White House for the first time. He performs with musician Stevie Wonder. The show is very big.

Last week’s show is much smaller. Only 2,000 people watch John sing. They are doctors, nurses and teachers. They are also people who support the LGBTQ community.

John gets a medal from President Joe Biden. The medal is a surprise for John. Biden and his wife speak about John’s work and good personality.
