On Tuesday, Falcon Heavy, the world’s most powerful rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral in Florida, US. It was the first Falcon Heavy mission since 2018.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX launched many rockets this year, but they weren’t as big as Falcon Heavy. Falcon Heavy carried satellites for the US defense system, and it was the first military mission for the rocket.

The first mission took place in 2018, when Falcon Heavy carried satellites for Saudi Arabia TV and phone services. In the second mission, the rocket carried experimental satellites for the US government.

SpaceX keeps sending rockets into space, and it is developing Starship. Starship is a bigger and fully reusable rocket, and SpaceX hopes to launch it into space in December this year.

Difficult words: defense (keep safe from an attack), experimental (something new to test and try), reusable (something to use more than once).
