Fight on a Plane – level 2
22-05-2017 07:00
At Burbank, California, passengers were leaving from a plane when a fight broke out between two men. Someone recorded it with a mobile phone as other passengers and crew members tried to stop the brawl. Afterwards, police arrested one of the men.
Southwest Airlines reported that its flight crews have training on how to de-escalate conflicts. The airline did not say what started the fight.
Difficult words: brawl (a physical fight), de-escalate (to make something less serious), conflict (a problem between people that could lead to fighting or arguing).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
