Fire Kills Teen Footballers – level 2
12-02-2019 07:00
Teenage football players were sleeping in the facilities of a football club when a fire broke out. This happened in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The fire grew, killed ten people and injured three. People are investigating why the fire started, and it is possible that there was a short circuit.
Difficult words: facility (a building or buildings for a specific use), broke out (start), short circuit (when an electric machine fails and the electricity starts a fire).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
