Fire Volcano in Mexico – level 1
06-10-2016 07:00
There are 3,000 volcanos in Mexico. One volcano is very active. It is the Colima Volcano. People also call it the Fire Volcano. It is in western Mexico. It is 3,800 metres high.
The Colima Volcano erupts. It sends ash and black smoke into the sky. The area is not safe. Two villages evacuate.
The situation may get better or worse. We do not know. The people there are not safe.
Difficult words: erupt (explode), ash (this is the stuff that is left after a fire burns something), evacuate (move people away from an area because of danger).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
