Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the UAE to strengthen ties and show India’s influence. This trip happened just before India’s elections.

Although there were troubles between the UAE and India in the past, Modi inaugurated Abu Dhabi’s first Hindu temple. The UAS is home to over 3 million Indians, and Modi is focusing on them now.

The visit also led to agreements on trade and investments. The two countries are working together more than ever.

Modi wants to boost his image as a global leader, and he needs Hindus to support him in the elections.
