Archer Aviation is a US company. The company makes the first flying taxi. Its name is ’Maker’. Maker is fully electric. It can carry two passengers. It does not have a driver.

Maker can fly as fast as 240 kmph. It can fly 100 kilometers at one time. It takes off like a helicopter. It does not need much space.

Archer Aviation wants to help solve problems with cars. Too many cars are in cities. Traffic jams are everywhere. People cannot find a place where they can park their cars.

The company wants to start selling flying taxis in 2024.

Difficult words: passenger (a person who travels somewhere), take off (when a plane or helicopter leaves the ground), traffic jam (the situation when too many cars are in one place and they move very slowly).
