A man kills a French teacher in Paris two weeks ago. The teacher shows cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed in his class.
The Prophet Mohammed is the founder of Islam. The teacher says that it is important that French people can speak freely. But many French Muslims have problems with these cartoons.
Last week, a man kills three people in Nice. The man comes from Tunisia. He is 21 years old. He gets to France through Italy.
Police shoot the man. He is in hospital now. His situation is very serious.
An emergency situation is in France now. 4,000 soldiers in France help keep schools and churches safe. The country has a big problem with Islam right now. The French president says that France must fight with terrorists.
Difficult words: cartoon (a picture that makes fun of something), founder (a person who starts or creates something), terrorist (a person who scares, hurts, or kills other people because they do or believe different things than him).
