“Fun” in Moscow’s Streets – level 2
24-08-2016 07:00
Heavy rain in Moscow caused a river to burst its banks, causing flooding in the streets. Two hundred people evacuated. In total, 9.4 centimetres rained down on the city.
One man, however, decided to turn the bad weather into something better. He got on a wakeboard and a car pulled him in the flooded streets.
Difficult words: burst (break open), bank (the land alongside a river), flooding (big water).
You can read the original story and watch the video in the Level 3 section.
