On Wednesday, 3,000 police officers arrest 25 people across Germany. These people plan to overthrow the government.

Some arrested people are soldiers, a politician, a judge, and people from extremist groups. They plan to attack the German parliament. They plan since November 2021.

Some of these people believe that Nazi Germany still exists. They do not believe that Nazi Germany ends after World War II. They do not accept today’s Germany. The group gets new members. They get special training.

Police also arrest several people in Austria and Germany.

Difficult words: overthrow (to end a government by force), extremist group (people with strong ideas who want to change the government in a country), member (someone who belongs to a group or organization).
