Giant panda has twins – level 2

This news is from the Toronto Zoo. A giant panda gave birth to twins.

Since 2013, the panda cubs were the first pandas born in Canada. People will care for them in a maternity area of the giant panda house for a few months.

The panda mother and father are on loan from China for 10 years.

Difficult words: cub (a young animal), maternity (relating to mothers and children), on loan (being borrowed).
